Polski Cukier is clearly better. GTK defeated friendly game
2018-08-25
Preparing for the Champions League qualification, Polski Cukier Toruń was definitely a better team than GTK Gliwice and achieved big victory with result 89:66. For the bronze medalists of Polish Championship, the best scorer was Karol Gruszecki - 21, and for the defeated team Myles Mack, who scored 18 points.
Gliwice only in the first quarter were able to have equal fight with the rival. In next quarters, the domination of the hosts was no longer subject to discussion. Polski Cukier definitely towered over rival athletism and experience. For GTK players, starting with such a difficult rival already at this stage of preparation is a painful lesson, but especially for foreigners is a signal that they will have a lot of work ahead before first game in the league.
On Saturday, both teams will face for the second time.
